COVID-19 crisis: AHSEC to promote 2.31 lakh Class 11 students without examination

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has decided to promote a total of 2,31,238 candidates from Class 11 to Class 12 without holding any examination.
Meanwhile, the results of the AHSEC final examination will depend on the lifting of lockdown orders.
It is expected that the results would be announced by May or June. This was disclosed by AHSEC Chairman Dr Dayananda Borgohain.
