The number of coronavirus cases in the country has crossed the 9-lakh mark, after 28,498 new cases and 553 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, according to the latest figures of the Health Ministry. With the rise in infections, the concerns have mounted in all the states and and many states cities including Pune and Bangalore have announced lockdowns in an attempt to control the spread of the virus
